Infant Care Program
Infants need nurturing, warmth, security, laughter, and love… and all are in plentiful supply at The Academy at Ellison Lakes. Infants learn through all five senses, so our infant care program is designed to stimulate those senses and enable your baby to constantly explore his or her world.
Our teachers will work with you in establishing routines that allow easy transition between home and school. Aduts wearing shoe coverings helps to maintain a clean environment. Our infant rooms is meticulously clean and soft enough for the most discriminating hands and feet. Low student to teacher ratios means your child gets plenty of one-on-one time for rocking, cuddling, peek a boo and conversation.
Our infant rooms helps introduce babies to healthy social and emotional interaction, language skills, body awareness and control.
Our infant program is divided into two classrooms to best meet the developmental needs of each child.
Infant Room: Designed for our youngest, non-mobile infants, this classroom provides a nurturing and secure environment where babies receive individualized care, plenty of cuddles, and opportunities to explore through age-appropriate sensory experiences.
Crawler Room: As infants become mobile and begin exploring their world, they transition to our Crawler Room. This classroom is specially designed to encourage movement, discovery, and development. Children have opportunities to practice crawling, pulling up, cruising, and taking their first steps while building confidence, coordination, and independence in a safe and engaging environment.
Our caring teachers support each child's unique developmental journey, helping them reach important milestones while providing the love and attention they need to thrive.
