Three-year-olds are naturally curious, eager to learn, and excited to explore the world around them. At The Academy at Ellison Lakes, we nurture that curiosity through a balanced program that promotes academic growth, social development, and independence.
Our preschool curriculum introduces children to early literacy, math, science, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences, stories, songs, games, and classroom activities. Children are encouraged to ask questions, make discoveries, and build confidence as they develop a lifelong love of learning.
A major focus of our preschool program is helping children develop strong social skills and independence. Through daily interactions, group activities, and guided play, children learn to communicate effectively, cooperate with others, solve problems, follow directions, and make responsible choices. As they master new skills, they gain confidence in their abilities and become more independent learners.
Outdoor learning is an important part of our day. The Academy at Ellison Lakes features three playgrounds designed to support children's physical, social, and cognitive development. Our active playgrounds provide opportunities for climbing, sliding, balancing, running, and other gross motor activities that build strength and coordination. We also have a dedicated Peaceful Playground, where children can enjoy picnics, outdoor reading, nature exploration, and educational activities in a calm and engaging environment.
